Is online ordering safe?

Shopping at the i-SAFE Store is safe. Every credit card purchase is backed by our secure server technology. Our software meets industry standards and is among the best available for secure transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information so that it cannot be read during transmission over the Internet. If you have more questions regarding your payment, please contact store@isafe.org. In addition to protecting online transactions, we assure your privacy in other ways.

First, personal information gathered on the store.isafe.org site is kept confidential. We do not sell information gathered on this site to other companies or send unsolicited e-mails to customers. We do provide periodic information on specials, promotions, and new products at auth.isafe.org/store or at www.isafe.org to customers who request it. If, at any time, you decide you no longer want to receive these messages, simply contact customer service or go to your account preference page and tell us.

I cannot put more than one item in my cart or it won’t let me log in. Help!

Our Web site uses cookies to identify our customers and the items they place in their shopping cart. If you have disabled cookies in your browser, or cookies are blocked by your firewall software, we will not be able to log you in as a user or keep track of what you place in your cart.

A "cookie" is a unique tag issued to a Web customer that is used to identify individual computers. Cookies do not harm your computer in any way; they just help us know who you are.

What about sales tax?

Sales shipped by i-SAFE to locations outside the state of California are exempt from California sales tax (California Revenue and Taxation Code §6396). Sales shipped to locations in the state of California are subject to California sales tax unless the buyer/purchaser is exempted or excluded from California sales tax pursuant to the California Revenue and Taxation Code. Therefore, all shipments to locations in the state of California will include California sales tax and i-SAFE shall refund such sales tax to exempted or excluded buyers/purchasers who provide i-SAFE documentary proof of their exempted or excluded status. If applicable, please fax proof of tax exempt/excluded status to 760-603-8382 Attn: Store.

How do you calculate shipping costs?

Shipping costs are based on total order amount and include our actual costs plus a small fee for order preparation and packaging. Because of the size and weight of some large orders, we ask that you call us if your shopping cart total is in excess of $2000 so we can give you the best shipping rate possible.

My credit card is being declined—I know this can’t be right. What can I do?

The i-SAFE Store uses the Address Verification System (AVS) and card code verification for your safety and security. i-SAFE verifies the credit card billing address on all Web transactions. If you wish, you can indicate different billing and shipping addresses for your order, but your billing address must match the credit card you are using. The card code is an important new security feature that appears on most credit cards. For Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and Diners Club, the code is a three-digit number that appears at the end of the account number on the back of the card. We do not accept American Express or Discover cards. The card code appears only on the physical credit card, verifying that you are in possession of the card.

If any of your information is inaccurate, even if credit funds are available, we will not accept the transaction.

How else can I place my order without using a credit card online?

i-SAFE understands that you may not be able to purchase materials for your school or organization using a credit card, or that you may just be uncomfortable using your credit card online. We are more than willing to work with you on alternate methods of payment including Purchase Orders, Checks, or Money Orders.

Can you ship Express Overnight?

Yes, but you must call your order in to us at 760.603.7911 x14. Only place your order on our web site if you can wait for regular ground delivery.

Can I return things?

You can return most products within 15 days of purchase; however, there is a 15 percent restocking fee. Additionally, the products must be in new condition and in their original packaging. Contact us for a Return Authorization Number before shipping anything back.
